The HWA1100 provides a long term monitoring capability independently for locations at distances of up to 2km using twisted pair or coaxial cable. Ten channels support microphones for monitoring room conversations. There is also one dedicated channel for monitoring a telephone line. The unit is mains operated but to safeguard against power problems it has an internal rechargeable battery that will activate automatically if necessary.
